Dubai, a city of superlatives, to be seen once in a lifetime. Where? The southeastern coast of the Persian Gulf, the seat of the Emirate of Dubai.

1. Burj Khalifa

It is considered the tallest building in the world, it is 828 meters high and offers a superb view of the whole of Dubai. You can take in the view from the observation decks on the 124th and 125th floors or treat yourself to a snack at the Top Sky Lounge on the 148th level. And if you want to impress your loved one, you can book a sunset dinner sun, at The Lounge Burj Khalifa, from floors 152-154, located 585 meters high.

How much it costs: for access to floors 124, 125 and 148 – 100 euros, you can make reservations in advance on their official website to avoid the enormous queues and waiting time. The best view of the city is from above, at sunset.

2. Dubai Gold Souk

Where? Deira, Al Ras, Dubai.

It is the old market of Dubai where you can buy spices and gold, even gold dresses. It's a typical Arab bazaar with good prices, but you have to negotiate anything. There are over 380 merchants selling jewelry. Here the largest ring in the world, made of precious stones and 64 kilograms of gold, which entered the Book of Records, is displayed in a showcase.

3. Museum of the Future

Where? Sheikh Zayed Road, near the city highway.

It is the world's most amazing and newest museum that shows you how the world could be in the future through the new discoveries of science. Tip: you have to make a reservation in advance, several months in advance, on the website to be able to visit it. It is also called the "living museum" because of its exhibits brought to life with the help of technology. Admission costs around $40.

4. The Dubai Mall fountain

Where? The Dubai Mall.

This is the famous fountain in Dubai, which throws jets of water up to 150 meters high and dances to the rhythm of the music in the evening, starting at 18:00. You can watch the show every half hour until 11pm. Entry is free.

5. Dubai Mall

Where? Financial Center Road.

Dubai Mall is the largest shopping center in the world, with an area of more than 9 million square meters, within which there are 1,200 shops and 150 restaurants. It's huge, about the size of 200 football fields, and you'll find everything you could imagine here from huge aquariums, relaxation spaces to children's playgrounds, etc.

6. Safari in the desert

It is a unique experience that you have to live. There is a safari with 4×4 jeeps, and at the end you will have a meal in the desert, with traditional Arabic dishes. Also here you can get temporary henna tattoos, watch the sunset in the desert or try sand surfing. It's super interesting. From the center of Dubai it takes about half an hour to reach the desert. There are many tours that you can take from the agencies in the city, from the hotel where you are staying or directly from the guides.
