Oman is a charming, safe, exotic destination with turquoise beaches and an Arabian air, like in a thousand and one nights. In fact, it is in the top 5 of the safest countries in the world. Of course you can ask yourself what is the situation of Oman, in the context of the current conflict in the region. Apart from a few pacifist declarations, the Sultanate of Oman did not get involved in the war at all. And, yes, we can honestly say that we felt safe.
1.Salalah city tour
See banana and papaya orchards visit, Sultan Qaboos Mosque, Salalah Mall and Sultan's Palace outside, Haffah Souk and Khofan Memorial House of the Sultan's mother. It takes 4 hours and costs around 60 euros per person.

5. The Caribbean of the Middle East
It is the tour where you see the most beautiful beaches of Oman: Secret Beach, Mugshail white beach and Fazayah Beach, where you linger for a few hours to sunbathe or swim. It costs 106 euros per person.
6. Dhofar area
You can really get to know the Omani traditions, because you will visit an authentic village and you will be able to have a snack, by the fire, with them. It costs 118 euros per person with food included.
7. Dolphins
On the coast of Oman, dolphins and whales can be seen all year round. It departs from the Salalah Marina area and the observation tour lasts around two hours. It costs 50 euros per person.
8. Fishing
Those who are passionate about sport fishing can try to see what they catch in the rich waters of Oman. It costs 118 euros per person and you are provided with appropriate equipment.
Good to know:
Dress code in Oman
- In the resorts, you have no clothing restrictions, you can sunbathe in a bathing suit. Only at special dinners are trousers and covered shoulders required.
- In the city, when visiting the mosque, men must wear long trousers and women long dresses and headscarves.
